Food was great started with calamari & muscles, calamari was fried to perfection they were a little bland but the marinara sauce made up for it. Mussels were plump and flavorful. Husband got the lasagna and said it was delicious. I got the seafood pasta in a white wine sauce and it was pretty decent. We left stuffed. The owners were very warm and intimate. Service was prompt.

So excited to have a new favorite place for Italian food. The food was wonderful and the owner was kind and welcoming. The artichoke appetizer was amazing and I loved the mushroom ravioli. Can't wait to visit again!

We found this place by accident but will go back for sure. Wonderful little family restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine. We were a group of six coming from a play performance. The burrata salad with fig reduction was perfection. I had the tortellini soup and the chicken broth was possible the best I've ever had. My friend had the calamari, again, perfection. My entree, crab and lobster ravioli with shrimp and a pink sauce was incredible. I finished the sauce with a spoon. The homemade desserts were awesome. Tiramisu was light and very tasty and the bombe was also enjoyed. Service was very friendly and efficient and well timed. The owner even came around to the tables to chat (his wife makes the desserts) . They have another location in West Chester. Bathroom was VERY small with a European toilet...you know the type you need help getting up from! But it was clean. Word of warning, if someone in your party has difficulty walking, drop them off at the front door and park out back...there is a sizable hill that must be scaled to get from the lot to the door....but totally worth the climb.

Took my partner on a date here, Luigi and Judy made sure to come over and say hello as we were sat down. The atmosphere was not too loud and the food was excellent; we ordered the burrata salad, grilled calamari, Rigatoni Boscaiola, and the salmon piccata. My partner loved all her food and I took home a little extra pasta for lunch the next day. 10/10 would eat here again!

This is a wonderful neighborhood spot with amazing food and friendly service. The homemade mushroom ravioli was superb. It may be the most gorgeous restaurant interior I’ve ever seen, with every inch of the walls decorated with hand painted art.

I came here on a whim looking for a good veal dinner, and I was not disappointed. I chose the veal scallopini with shrimp and sun-dried tomatoes. The veal dish was the freshest-tasting veal I've had in decades (!). The accompanying Insalata Core de Roma was also excellent, with a salad dressing that included a slight "kick" (just a tiny hint of sriracha as explained by the owners). Unpretentious and comfortable establishment, with attentive owners. Plus it's a quick and easy two minutes off the Belmont Avenue exit of the Schuylkill Expressway.... convenient. Thanks, Luigi and Stephanie for the nice surprise, and a new "go to" spot for me

This restaurant is probably one of the best places I have ever water. The food and service is outstanding! I’m Italian and very picky with my sauce....its amazing! We drove for an hour to get here. I would gladly drive double that to eat this delicious food! The owners are so kind and make everything. So so good! I promise it will be one of the best Italian restaurants you’ve ever eaten at!

We had a group of friends who traveled to Rome last year together and decided last minute to meet for dinner. Core de Roma graciously fit us in at the last minute. Honestly, we thought we were back in Rome. The decor is so warm and European. But more importantly the food was made to perfection. The artichokes, the veal ossobuco Romano, grilled calamari, eggplant (not breaded and fried but baked) were excellent. All the pasta dishes especially the homemade gnocchi which are homemade along with other pasta dishes, bread and dessert were flawless. Extra shout out for the pasta fagioli (sorry grandmom I thought you made it the best until I had it here) and for the real Italians at the table, the trippa was outstanding. The owners Judy and Luigi Pinti were very gracious and even made time to hear about our trip to Rome. The waiters were very attentive. Added bonus it is a BYOB. We all cannot wait to come back. This is our new favorite restaurant.
